Emmy Awards, gjerne omtalt som bare Emmy, er tv-skjermens svar på Oscarutdelingen. Nå er nominasjonslistene for Emmy Awards 2008 offentliggjort.
Folkene bak miniserien
John Adamsvar nok blant dem som feiret hardest etter gårsdagens offentliggjøring. Serien,
en biografisk beretning om USAs andre president, dro i havn hele 23 nominasjoner, deriblant beste mini-serie, beste skuespiller og skuespillerinne i miniserie/film og beste regi for miniserie/film/dramaspesial.
Mad Men mottok 16 nominasjoner og ble den mest nominerte dramaserien, mens 30 Rock slo ny rekord på komediefronten, med sine 17 nominasjoner. The Larry Sanders Show, som mottok 16 nominasjoner i 1997, måtte dermed se seg slått.
